A child sees the world around them with innocence, wonder and awe; we believe in encouraging their inquisitive spirit and natural curiosity with love and care.

Furthermore, we understand that children, when provided with an effective variety of age-appropriate choices and pursuits, will learn through self discovery, invention, imagination and experimentation within an enriched environment.

In 2002, Kribs2Kids was incorporated in St. Matthews to meet the demands for quality care at affordable prices – Kribs2Kids Academy Fairdale is our second location that features the same treasured values that has set us apart from the rest. 

Children are born with a need to belong—first to a family, then to a school, a community and then the world-at-large.  Belonging is sharing emotions, being accepted, and comforted.  It includes being part of a cultural tradition and accepting the cultural traditions of others.  Belonging is, indeed, sharing a part of ourselves and our families, our homes and our cultural backgrounds.  We wish to create such an environment for children at both Kribs2Kids Academy Centers making them a part of the world they live in, and giving them a sense of belonging and oneness.  We believe that children learn through play and hands-on experience.  Also, that children should be allowed to "get messy" in their playing and learning activities.  Through play there is no need to produce a specific product, no right or wrong answers but through experience, learning and enriching their lives.  A child's ability to pretend in play is a way of enlarging his or her view of the world.  It is a step toward literacy, and play often reflects the creative inner self.

• Care for our children with tender love and understanding, so they learn to think, act and make decisions on their own accord based on soundly, grounded moral principles.
  
• Cultivate a strong intellectual, physical, social psychological and spiritual foundation in our children from which they continue to evolve and achieve their fullest potential.
• Communicate daily, weekly and monthly progress reports on every child’s growth and development to parents, guardians, families, and all other appropriate parties.
